The first meeting of the UN Human Rights Council was held in Geneva June 19-30, 2006. The Chinese Association for International Understanding, the United Nations Association of China, the China Society for Human Rights Studies and the All-China Women¡¯s Federation sent representatives to attend the meeting June 26-30 respectively.
