The 6^th World Social Forum/Asia Venue was held in Karachi, Pakistan Mar 24-29, 2006. More than 5000 representatives from over 30 countries attended this event. The United Nations Association of China, the Chinese Association for International Understanding, the Chinese People¡¯s Association for Peace and Disarmament, China Association for Preservation and Development of Tibetan Culture, the All-China Environment Federation sent representatives to the event, and jointly organized two culture exhibitions entitled China¡¯s Development and Asia¡¯s Prosperity.
