The 62nd Annual UN DPI/NGO Conference was held in Mexico City, Mexico on Sep. 9-11, 2009. The theme of the Conference is ¡°for peace and development¡ªDisarm Now!¡±. About 1300 representatives of over 340 NGOs from 55 countries attended the conference. Chinese People¡¯s Association for Peace and Disarmament, China NGO Network for International Exchanges, Chinese People¡¯s Association for the Friendship with Foreign Countries, National Association of Vocational Education of China, United Nations Association of China and China Care and Compassion Society sent representatives to the Conference.
